Saw this beaut in midtown today. Recognized it for what it was and immediately went on Singer’s website to try to find out more. I can’t find one with this exact spec on their site, or anywhere online. It’s got Montana plates, but it looks like Singer’s only made one car for Montana and it’s blue... would someone be crazy enough to get their Singer re-customized? or is this just one that they haven’t publicized yet?
I figured someone on oppo might know, or might even have seen this car before!
It’s got an interesting spec, the rear impact bumpers are painted instead of chrome like your avg Singer. It’s a 4.0 but it has the chrome ‘P O R S C H E’ lettering instead of the decals that I’ve seen on most of the 4.0s online. Silvery fuchs wheels, and grey side stickers. I unfortunately couldn’t get a shot from the front, so this is all I have to work from...
Happy hunting!
[Update: Thanks to the instagram efforts of !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , I now know that this is Singer’s New York II]

What city? And just because a car has Montana plates doesn't mean the owner lives there. They have no sales tax and plenty of people set up LLCs there to buy expensive vehicles through.

It’s always possible it got sold to somebody in Montana or they moved the state it’s registered in to Montana for tax or other reasons.

Didn’t know about the lack of sales tax, that’s pretty interesting!

It looks like New York 2. Their Instagram is way more friendlier for identifying cars than their website.

Might have the details wrong but google it. One of the top results is an article DeMuro wrote about it a few years back

Yep, my dad is from Red Lodge. Lots of supercars go through there. I don’t like Singers because I could piece together an awesome 911 for way less than that shit, even a 73 RS clone, plus all the foo foo stuff is lame. This is all you need, drive it, don’t buy handbags in it:

Yeah, Montana is the go to plate for people who want to cheat their home state out of taxes/registration fees.

I adore Singer, on a philosophical level, but since I rank the 911 just slightly below an unexpectedly wet fart, I just wish somebody did the Singer thing to a car I actually give a shit about.
Somebody modernize/lavish lustful attention onto a Prince Skyline GT-B or a first gen Celica coupe. Thanks.

I also remember that you could register a vehicle without being present, and there were no inspections. That makes all those things nice and easy. Just so long as you don’t care about, you know, being honest.

Sounds like a good motto for a license plate.

God those are sexy. Not sure if they're worth the price tag, but truly drool worthy.
